Monday-Friday | 10am-12pm | August 3-7 (5 Sessions) Free and open to students 12-18 yrs of age | 12 spots | Registration required through The Art Space website Class Description In this course, students will explore textile art using fabric, thread, yarn, and found materials to build layered, textured compositions on canvas. Working with scissors, glue, and basic embroidery stitches, students will develop two original pieces over the week, experimenting with color, texture, and intuitive making. No prior sewing or embroidery experience is required. The course culminates in a final mounted piece.
