Special Events at ADK House
The Norwalk Art Space at ADK House is a stunning, contemporary event space housed in a historic Norwalk building. Bathed in light from massive arched windows, the beautiful, newly renovated interior has multiple levels and a capacity of 210 people for a standing reception and 120 for a seated dinner. Marcia Selden Catering is the exclusive caterer for The Norwalk Art Space and will make any event one of a kind! Featuring a 2,200 square foot gallery, versatile loft space, separate 450 square foot upper dining area, and an outdoor patio and sculpture garden, The Norwalk Art Space offers an inspiring and artistic backdrop for your next special event.
Rental fee starts at $3,000 for an 8-hour rental (space only, does not include catering). All private event inquiries are handled by Marcia Selden Catering.

Catering is provided exclusively by Marcia Selden Catering. Other caterers are not permitted, as the Selden staff has been fully trained in the operations of our historic building and requirements surrounding art exhibitions.

In general, no outside food/beverages are allowed (not including specialty cakes/kosher items/unique situations).

The lower-level classroom and artist studio spaces are used by the catering staff, and therefore closed to guests, during events.

There is one ADA-compliant unisex restroom on the main gallery level and two ADA-compliant unisex restrooms on the lower level (with flexible use vestibule).

A ramp allows wheelchair access from the parking lot to the main entrance and gallery level, and an ADA-compliant lift serves the gallery, cafe and lower levels.

Any music playing outside the building must end by 10:00pm Friday-Saturday, and by 9pm Sunday-Thursday.

Renters must be considerate of the neighborhood, keeping the noise level from live bands or DJs reasonable.

Size of the main interior event rooms: Main Gallery 40’x 58' (2,200 sq ft), Loft 19’x10', Foyer 21’x10', Cafe Dining Area 33'x14' (450 sq ft)

Front patio is approximately 60’x22’ (not including the sidewalk).

8 parking spots are available onsite. Guests can self-park in two adjacent parking lots, or the caterer can recommend a valet parking provider for you to hire. (No overnight parking allowed)
Touring ADK House
If you would like to tour the space, you may do so on your own during normal business hours, Wednesday - Friday 8am - 3pm and Saturday - Sunday 9am - 3pm. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment and personal tour with a member of the Marcia Selden Catering team.
