In this class, you will apply ink to plastic, glass, or metal plates using tools like rollers, brushes, fingers, rags, and Q-tips. Then, you will transfer the ink onto paper, resulting in your own unique print. Additional prints pulled from the same plate are called ghost prints. We will explore additive techniques (applying or painting ink onto the plate), subtractive techniques (wiping ink away), tracing, and stencil. The prints make wonderful additions to your art portfolio! A visit and work day will take place at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking on October 29th
