Description

Monday-Friday | 10am-12pm | July 13 -17 (session 1) | Free and open to students 12-18 yrs of age | 12 spots | Registration required through The Art Space website. Note: Students may sign up for both sessions for a 2-week-long intensive Course Description: Get ready to dive into the exciting world of Manga! Students will create their own original characters, while learning signature manga techniques such as line weight variation, cross-hatching, screentones, speed lines, and visual shorthand for emotion and comedy. We will then insert the characters into a panel composition with their own story. Students will walk away with a finished piece of original artwork and the confidence to keep drawing long after summer ends!
