Saturday September 6 |11am- 2pm | The Norwalk Art Space | Free and open to students 12-18 years old |15 spots| Registration required through The Art Space website. NOTE: All students may only register for 2 art sessions within the Brushes for Peace Series (not including sessions 4 & 5). Class Description Session #1: Introduction to Peace Through Art, with visiting artist Eric Chaing. • Introduction to the workshop and its objectives. • Discussion on the role of art in peacebuilding. • Icebreaker activity: Share your peace vision. • Basic painting techniques: Color theory and brushwork. • Start on individual peace-themed canvases. • Reflection: What does peace mean to you?
