Description

Tuesdays | 5:15 - 6 pm, 6:00 - 6:45pm, or 6:45 - 7:30 pm | The Norwalk Art Space | January 20, 2026 - May 19, 2026 |(16 sessions, no class on Feb 17 and April 7) | Public Performance Thursday, April 23, 2026 | Free and open to students Grades 3-8 | 8 spots available in each session. Registration Required through the Intempo Website @ https://reg126.imperisoft.com/INTEMPO/Search/Registration.aspx (copy and paste URL in your browser) or use the link on the Music Classes homepage. Class description Want to learn the violin, viola, or cello? Over 16 sessions, students will learn the basics of their chosen string instrument and prepare to join a string ensemble. Beginner 1 (5:15 - 6pm): very little or no experience Beginner 2 (6:00-6:45pm): basic knowledge and can read some musical notation Beginner 2+ (6:45 - 7:30pm): basic knowlege and can read notation
