Service Description

Thursdays | 3:45 - 5:45pm | September 28 - November 16, 2023 (8 sessions) Free and open to students 13 - 18yrs of age | 12 spots available In this foundational drawing course, students will learn to draw harmoniously using the mind, eye, and hand. Emphasis will be on observational drawing while learning composition, line, form, and value. Tim's approach to drawing emphasizes storytelling, and each drawing is an opportunity to share a unique story. This all-encompassing approach allows the artist to have moments of reflective meditation, which has been shown to impact mental well-being positively. ****IMPORTANT: Please notify us ahead of time if the student will miss 1 or more classes (or wishes to withdraw completely). We keep our classes small, so there is usually a waiting list. If one student registers but doesn't show up, it means another interested student loses out on the opportunity to participate.****
