OUR PARTNERS

The Norwalk Art Space is generously supported by a wide range of corporate and community partners.

Thanks to their support, we've been working to increase opportunities and equity in the local arts and educational communities by:

  • Offering free high-caliber art and music education and mentorship to under-served local students

  • Sponsoring and promoting underrepresented Connecticut artists through free residency and fellowship programs, free studio space, and free exhibition space

  • Providing the public an exciting venue and sculpture garden to explore art, enjoy music, and stimulate conversation, admission-free

  • Supporting the Norwalk Public Schools with professional development days and art resources

  • Giving artists teaching experience and opportunities to further enhance their careers

Since opening our doors in June 2021, we have:

  • Welcomed over 23,000 visitors into our beautiful museum, ADK House, admission-free

  • Provided free art and music classes and art enrichment activities to over 1,000 local students

  • Offered 21 semester-long art classes, 7 artist talks and 10 workshops

  • Held 21 free art exhibitions displaying incredible work by local artists, 5 to 93 years old

  • Sponsored 17 brilliant Resident Artists and Korry Fellows and watched them thrive, learn, create and teach in our space

  • Formed a partnership with SONO Collection to give our exhibitions a second viewing in their Magnificent Room gallery

  • Received an ACE (Arts & Culture Empowerment) Award from the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County and a Preservation Award for ADK House from Preservation Connecticut

  • Established the Petty-Drayton Music Program and partnered with INTEMPO to offer classical and intercultural music classes beginning in January 2023
