Korry Fellows and Resident Artists
Each year we will name four Resident Artists and award four Korry Fellowships, with candidates selected under the guidance of our Selection Committee.
Resident Artists will be provided a residency at ADK House, which will include a free studio and work space, and use of part of our Resident Gallery to exhibit their art. Resident Artists will teach one after-school art class, once a week, to our students, and in some cases mentor an aspiring artist. The design and curriculum for each class will be determined by the Resident Artist and tie into one or more of our Korry Fellows' exhibitions.
Distinguished Korry Fellows will have a 6-8 week exhibition in the Main Gallery, and will work with the Resident Artists on their class curriculum. They will also provide workshops and various educational opportunities to our students and the public at large.
Criteria for selection include the artist's body of work to date, potential for growth through a Residency or Fellowship, teaching aptitude, ability to activate the Space, reputation in the community and interest in working with youth.
