Our Mission:

The Norwalk Art Space will enhance opportunities and equity in the Connecticut arts community by serving as a hub for the arts, offering free art education and mentorship to under-served high school students, sponsoring and promoting local artists through our Resident Artist Programs and Fellow exhibitions and providing the public a welcoming forum to explore art and music.

We will be guided by an Advisory Board which will be broadly representative of the community. The Advisory Board is still in formation.

We are building a dream-team of talented local artists, educators and civic leaders to help operate the Space.  Our team, so far, is led by:

--Duvian Montoya, Director of Art & Education.

--Canyon Sharits, Director of Music & Space Manager
--More to come ... please stay tuned

We welcome ideas on possible classes, exhibitions or other uses of our space that would serve our core mission of promoting local artists and providing art education to youth (ages 13-18).  Artists are invited to apply for our Residency and Fellowship program by submitting their application here.
